BUDGET HEARING NOTICE

Notice is hereby given to the electors of the Town of Cooks Valley that a Public Hearing on the Proposed Budget will be held at the Cooks Valley Town Hall on Wednesday November 12, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. The following is a summary of the proposed 2009 budget.  The proposed budget in detail is available for inspection at the home of the town clerk.  Please call for an appointment at 568-2037.
            Expected Expenditures…………………..$272,113.90
            Expected Revenues………………………$133,113.90
            Proposed Town Levy…………………….$139,000.00

Special Town Meeting of Electors Notice

 

Notice is herby given that on Wednesday November 12, 2008 immediately following the Public Hearing Meeting, which begins at 7:30 p.m., a special town meeting of the electors pursuant to section 60.12 [1] [c] of Wisconsin Statutes will be held at the Cooks Valley Town Hall.   The agenda will include:

  1. Adoption of the town tax levy to be paid in 2009 pursuant to Section 60.10 [1] [a] of Wisconsin Statutes of $139,000.00
  2. Approval of the 2009 highway expenditures pursuant to Section 81.01 [3] of Wisconsin Statues of $210,000.

Town of Cooks Valley Special Town Meeting Notice

The Cooks Valley Town board will hold a special town meeting on Wednesday November 12, 2008 at the Cooks Valley town hall following the Special Meeting of the Electors being held after the Public Hearing at 7:30.  The agenda will include: Call to order, approval of the 2009 budget, approval of the town tax levy, approval of the 2009 highway expenditures adjournment.  The public is invited to attend this meeting.
