TOWN BOARD SPECIAL MEETING
NOVEMBER 12, 2008
Budget

The Town of Cooks Valley Chairman Ron Fanetti called the special meeting to order at 9:10 pm on November 12, 2008.  Elected officials present were:  Ron Fanetti, David Clements, Gary Yakesh, Victoria Trinko, and Eunice Steinmetz.  See attached sheet for resident attendance.

Gary Yakesh made a motion to approve the 2009 Town of Cooks Valley Budget.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.

David Clements made a motion to accept the town tax levy of $139,000.00 to be paid in 2009 pursuant to Section 60.10 (1) (a) actually 60.13 (3) of Wisconsin statutes and a mil rate of .003148501. Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion passed 3-0.

Gary Yakesh made a motion to approve the 2009 highway expenditures pursuant to Section 81.01 (3) actually 82.01of Wisconsin Statures not to exceed $180,000.  David Clements seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0.

David Clements made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:23 pm.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion passed 3-0.
