Chairman Darrel Fehr called the annual cemetery meeting to order on July 8, 2013 at 9:34 pm. Cemetery committee present: Darrel Fehr, David Clements, and John Sykora. Delegation present: Victoria Trinko, Judy and Harry Prince. Darrel Fehr made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the June 11, 2012 Cooks Valley Cemetery meeting. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion passed 3-0.
Discussion and action on maintenance and funding for the upkeep of the Cooks Valley Cemetery: EOG will replace the blacktop up to the gate that was removed during the reconstruction of 135th Avenue. Maintenance will be confined to mowing, filling a hole on the north side of the cemetery, and straightening a few stones until the interest accumulates for major repairs. Harry Prince has maintained the cemetery in fine condition.
Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:46 pm. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
