Cooks Valley Cemetery Meeting

Chairman Darrel Fehr called the annual cemetery meeting to order on June 12, 2023 at 7:34 pm.  Cemetery committee present:  Darrel Fehr and Matt Borofka.  Delegation present: Vicki Freeberg, Loren Prince, Jan Thorson, Rod Thorson, Mary Jo Fehr, Gene Pagel & Beth Pagel, Joe Yakesh.   

Darrel Fehr made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the June 13, 2022 Cooks Valley Cemetery meeting.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion passed 2-0.  

Discussion and action on maintenance and funding for the upkeep of the Cooks Valley Cemetery:   Loren fixed post and will cut down tree that did not get to last year, large headstone base is going to need to be repaired as it is crumbling, tip stone back up.

Interest $72.11 – Balance in CD as of March 30, 2023 $12,995.02

Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:39 pm.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0.
