Chairman Doug Zwiefelhofer called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 7:32pm on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at the Cooks Valley Town Hall [15784 40th Street]. Those present at the meeting were: plan commission members -Doug Zwiefelhofer, Tom Short, and Carol M. Clements. Others present: Isaac Schindler and Earl Hassemer.
Tom Short made a motion to accept the June 1, 2011 minutes. Doug Zwiefelhofer seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Discussion and possible action on request for variance-Isaac Schindler: After review of the request for a variance, Tom Short made a motion to grant Isaac Schindler a variance if one is needed. Carol M. Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Review of the proposed ordinance-Heavy Vehicle Operator’s Permits: The plan commission reviewed and read the proposed ordinance, decided it is a good starting point, and will be explored further. Carol M. Clements made a motion to explore the proposed ordinance-Heavy Vehicle Operator’s Permits at a later meeting. Doug Zwiefelhofer seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Review of operator’s permit: Tom Short made a motion to add a legal description of the land in operation to the operators permit. Carol M. Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Review of Schedule of Fees/Forfeiture: Tom Short made a motion to accept the schedule of Fees/Forfeitures. Carol M. Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
