COMMISSION MEETING
Town of Cooks Valley
December 6, 2017

Chairman Doug Zwiefelhofer called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 7:59 pm on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at the Cooks Valley Town Hall [15751 40th Street].   Plan Commission members in attendance:  Doug Zwiefelhofer, Thomas Short, Calvin Swartz –left at 8:26, Stanley Sarauer, and Damian Prince.
Approval of the plan commission meeting minutes of September 6, 2017:  Stanley Sarauer made a motion to approve the September 6, 2017 plan commission minutes. Calvin Swartz seconded the motion.  The motion carried 5-0. 
Public Comment:  There was no public comment.
Discussion and review of the Land Comprehensive Plan:  The plan commission reviewed and suggested pages one through ten of the Land Comprehensive Plan.
Discussion and possible action on permits, materials in the permits, and protocol for the follow-up of compliance by permit applicant:  The chairman or supervisor will provide a phone number for a contact for pre-inspection of setbacks and other pertinent items. 
Dissemination of information concerning signage of the town boundaries, landfills, and other concerns of the commission:  Darrel Fehr contacted the WTA concerning signs for building permits and the county issues permits for landfills.  Doug Zwiefelhofer handed copies of a Wisconsin Statute 289.22 Waste treatment, disposal, and storage ordinance to the plan commission members to review and discuss.
Future agenda items and business:
 Change and update the first ten pages of the Comprehensive Plan
Review and discuss pages 11-15 of the Land Comprehensive Plan
Discuss Wisconsin State Statute 289.22
Approval of December 6, 2017 minutes
Adjourn:  Damian Prince made a motion to adjourn at 10:07 pm.  Tom Short seconded the motion.
The motion carried 4-0.
