COMMISSION MEETING
Town of Cooks Valley
February 21, 2018

Chairman Doug Zwiefelhofer called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 8:03 pm on Wednesday February 21, 2018 at the Cooks Valley Town Hall [15751 40th Street].   Plan Commission members in attendance:  Doug Zwiefelhofer, Thomas Short, Stanley Sarauer and Damian Prince.
Approval of the plan commission meeting minutes of January 3, 2018:  Stanley Sarauer made the motion to approve the minutes of the January 3, 2018 plan commission meeting.  Damian Prince seconded the motion.  The motion carried 4-0.
Discussion and possible action on landfill ordinance:  On page 1, reverse section 4 paragraph D & E; on Section 9 add E, which would state ‘no person would be issued or reissued a permit under the ordinance if the facility site is within ½ mile of a well.  The plan commission will make a recommendation to the town board of Cooks Valley to approve the landfill ordinance with the changes approved by the plan commission.
Review and discuss pages 11-20 of the Land Comprehensive Plan:  The plan commission reviewed and made changes to pages 11-20 of the Land Comprehensive Plan.
Future agenda items and business:
Review and discuss pages 21-25 and page 18-5.3 of the Land Comprehensive Plan
The next plan commission meeting will be March 14, 2018 at 8:00 pm.
Adjourn:  Damian Prince made a motion to adjourn at 10:02 pm.  Stanley Prince seconded the motion.
The motion carried 4-0.
