Plan Commission Meeting
Town of Cooks Valley
June 26,2008

David LaGesse, Chairman of the Plan Commission, called the Plan
Commission meeting to order at 8: 10 p.m. on Thursday June 26,2008 at the Cooks
Valley Town Hall. Those present at the meeting were David LaGesse, Ron
Fanetti, Doug Zwiefelhofer, Jerry Ruff, and Chris DeGidio. Bill Shindler and Jeff
Hilger also attended the meeting.

Jerry Ruff made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the June
4,2008 Plan Commission meeting. Doug Zwiefelhoffer seconded the motion. The
motion passed 4-0.

The Plan Commission began a long discussion on the potential problems
Cooks Valley may face regarding mining in our area, and drafied the CHAPTER
19 MINING ORDINANCE. Chris DeGidio made a motion to vote to accept the
ordinance and pass it on to the Town Board. Doug Zwiefelhoffer seconded the
motion and a roll call vote was taken. The ordinance passed 4-0 and the Plan
Commission will send the ordinance to the Town Board for a vote.

FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS AND BUSINESS

- Discuss possible amendments to the Land Use Changes to the
Comprehensive Map pertaining to road bonding necessities

- Continue linking ordinances to the comprehensive plan

- The next Plan Commission meeting will be Tuesday July 15,2008 at 7:30 P.M

ADJOURNMENT:
Chris DeGidio ,made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:48 pm. Jerry Ruff
seconded the motion. The motion passed 4-0.
