REGULAR TOWN BOARD MEETING
MONDAY December 8th , 2025
Chairman Darrel Fehr called the meeting to order on December 8th, 2025 at 7:00 pm. The supervisors present
were Matt Borofka. Other officers present: Erica Ullom-clerk and Jan Thorson –treasurer.

Recitation of Pledge of Allegiance by delegation present.
Certification of proper posting for the scheduled town board meeting: The notice for the December 8th, 2025 board meeting was duly posted in the 3 designated places within the Town of Cooks Valley on December 5th, 2025.
Public Comment: no public comment
Discussion and possible action on budget categories- none brought forward
Approval of the November 10th 2025 board meeting minutes and November 11th Town Board Special Meeting Matt Borofka approved, seconded by Darrel Fehr motion carried 2-0.
Reading by Treasurer of November financial report-Ending balance on November 30th 2025 of $98,071.20 and total cash on hand $204,046.68. Security Bank loan balance as of November 30th, 2025 is $70,466.05.
Darrel Fehr made a motion on applying unused 2025 budget to our town hall bank loan-$14185.99 to our bank loan for the new townhall, seconded by Matt Borofka motion carried 2-0.
Reading and approval of the November bills-checks 6511-6532-Darrel Fehr approved, seconded by Matt Borofka motion carried 2-0.
Building/driveway permits-Mike & Lacey Wensel-building permit
Discussion and possible action pertaining to plan commission-did not meet
Darrel Fehr made a motion to approve the Submitted List of Election Workers, seconded by Matt Borofka motion passes 2-0.
Chairman’s report-fire report-no fires to report-roads are in decent driving condition
Recycling report by Rod Thorson-end of the year summary, similar to last year, work schedule continues to be filled, all the freon items and appliances are picked up, gates will stay open all winter for ease of plowing
Dissemination of Information- clerk’s report-the townhall will be rented on 12/14, Election Equipment Training here on 1/14, working on updating to .gov, a parcel of land from David Wogernese was put into Managed Forest Land.
Future items and business-next meeting 1/12/26, culverts on 186th-Darrel will talk to the county
