Chairman Darrel Fehr called the meeting to order on August 9, 2021 at 7:00 pm. The supervisors present
were Matthew Borofka and David Clements. Other officers present: Vicki Freeberg-clerk and Jan Thorson –treasurer.

Certification of proper posting for the scheduled town board meeting: The notice for the August 9, 2021 board meeting was duly posted in the 3 designated places within the Town of Cooks Valley on August 6, 2021.

Discussion and possible action on budget categories: None
Approval of the July 12, 2021 regular town board meeting minutes – Matt Borofka made a motion to approve July meeting minutes. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Reading by Treasurer of July financial report: Ending balance on July 31, 2021 of $131,794.32 and total cash on
hand $324,910.45
Reading and Approval of the July bills: Darrel Fehr made a motion to approve check vouchers #5404 - 5420 for payment of the July bills. Matt Borofka seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Building/driveway permits: Mark Licht for new home construction, Joey Helland driveway
Discussion and possible action relating to the plan commission: None
Discussion to approve amendment to Ordinance #10 and Ordinance #23 (2nd time) so posting can be done according to Statutes– Darrel Fehr made motion to approve the change in fee on Chapter 10 Fire Suppression. Matt Borofka seconded the motion. Roll call vote: Darrel Fehr – aye, David Clements – aye, Matthew Borofka – aye The motion carried 3-0.

Discussion and approval to transfer $43,856.12 ARPA funds to special account – Board members and clerk signed necessary bank paperwork to set up new account for ARPA funds. Darrel Fehr made a motion to transfer $43,856.12 into new account. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0
Discussion and approval of CSM for Robert Rubenzer- Darrel Fehr made a motion to approve CSM for Bob Rubenzer. Matt Borofka seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0
Discussion and approval of a new Township attorney – Darrel Fehr made a motion to approve new Township attorney Timothy Proue of Wiley Law Services. Matt Borofka seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Chairman’s report: – Fire Dept./Roads – No fires for the month, Mine report – no change. Darrel Fehr patched a few roads, attended special meeting in Town of Delmar on July 27,
Dissemination of Information- clerk’s report: Shared Revenue for 2020 property tax $5,975.91 check, sent 2nd notice to Purfrac for reimbursement of legal fees owed to township
