Chairman Darrel Fehr called the meeting to order on December 13, 2021 at 7:00 pm. The supervisor present
was David Clements. Other officers present: Vicki Freeberg-clerk and Jan Thorson –treasurer.

Certification of proper posting for the scheduled town board meeting: The notice for the December 13, 2021 board meeting was duly posted in the 3 designated places within the Town of Cooks Valley on December 12, 2021.
Public Comment: Rod Thorson drew up plans for proposed town hall and recycling center on land bought by Township and shared ideas with public.
Discussion and possible action on budget categories: B073 Printing & Publication budget 450 (516.43) and H-181 Cemetery wages 400 ($405) and Recycling budget $10,000 ($10,408.99) Darrel Fehr made a motion to move $100 from Non Allocated funds to B073, move $20 from Non Allocated Funds to H-181 and $500 from Non Allocated funds to Recycling. David Clements seconded the motion. Motion carried 2-0
Approval of the November 15, 2021 regular town board meeting minutes & November 15 Special Budget Hearing – Darrel Fehr made a motion to approve both November 15 meeting minutes. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 2-0.
Reading by Treasurer of November financial report: Ending balance on November 30, 2021 of and total $165,974.55
cash on hand $236,427.82.
Reading and Approval of the November bills: Darrel Fehr made a motion to approve check vouchers #5466 - 5489 for payment of the November bills. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 2-0.
Building/driveway permits: Richard Loftus to build a shed
Discussion and possible action relating to the plan commission: None
Discussion and approval of operator permits for Bloomer Rod and Gun: Darrel Fehr made a motion to accept Ronald Yakesh, Douglas Steinmetz, John P Sykora III and Eugene Harnisch applications for Operator permits. David Clements seconded the motion. Motion carried 2-0.
Discussion and possible action on UDC (Uniform Dwelling Code) Ordinance: No motion on this, table until next month
Discussion on Board attending ARPA Listening Session to be held January 27, 2022: Matt Borofka was absent and only Board member who will attend is Darrel Fehr.
Discussion and possible approval of Election workers for January 2022 through December 31, 2023: Darrel Fehr made a motion to accept the list of Election workers. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 2-0.
Chairman’s report: – Fire Dept./Roads – Loren Zwiefelhofer shed fire, roads have been plowed timely, LaGesse mine looks good to finish reclamation by 2022.
Dissemination of Information- Northern Metal recycling check for $249.70, & received letter with three nominees for Bloomer School Board, and letter from DNR Managed Forest Land for Dean & Jolene Schwartz Rev Trust starting in 2022 for period of 25 years.
