Regular Town Board Meeting

June 8, 2009

Chairman Ron Fanetti called the meeting to order on June 8, 2009 at 8:03 pm.  The supervisors present were: David Clements and Gary Yakesh.  Delegation present were:  Victoria Trinko-Clerk and Eunice Steinmetz-treasurer, Earl Hassemer, James Rogge, Matt Ruf, and David LaGesse.  Ron Fanetti made a motion to move agenda item #9 to agenda item # 2.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
Discussion and possible action on variance-James K. Rogge:  David LaGesse commented the plan commission considered #5 © of the Chapter 7 Ordinance of Minimal Lo Size for Single and Two family Residential Houses and Non-Residential Structures which states for the purpose of building or selling the property needs a Certified Survey Map.  The
Chapter 7 Ordinance has an amendment about a setback of 60 feet.  There was discussion of survey maps of property lines in relation to property west of 40th Street with property owned by John Stone and Constance Rihn.  David Clements made a motion to approve the sale of the James K. Rogge parcel as there are two separate parcels involved less than 5 acres instead of one purchased prior to Chapter 7 Ordinance and therefore not in conflict with the Chapter 7 Ordinance.  Ron Fanetti seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0.  Gary Yakesh abstained from the vote. 
PUBLIC COMMENT:  No public comment 
Gary Yakesh made a motion to approve and place on file the minutes of May 11, 2009 regular town board meeting,   David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
David Clements made a motion to approve the June financial report.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
Gary Yakesh made a motion to approve the May bills.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
Discussion and possible action on budget categories, Gary Yakesh made a motion to move $100.00 to U-138 from non-allocated funds and $6.00 to B-074 from non-allocated funds, David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
Discussion and possible action on building permit ordinance: Gary Yakesh talked with Bob Irwin, our township’s assessor, about doors, painting, wallpapering, and restoration of plumbing.  This item will be postponed until the next regular meeting.
Discussion and possible action on approval of building permit-Junior Sonnentag:  this item became moot as the owner changed the location of the proposed shed.
Discussion and possible action on road projects-ditching, mowing, spraying:  We have ditching, mowing and spraying projects: ditching on 50th Street to alleviate road bed saturation south of 148th Avenue, and the addition of a second culvert on 60th Street pertaining to replacement.  Gary Yakesh made a motion to proceed on the road projects of ditching, mowing and spraying.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
Discussion and possible action on applications liquor/beer/cigarette/operators licenses:  David Clements made a motion to approve the Class “B” liquor/ beer applications of Trout Creek Inn and Valley Tavern, the “Class B” beer license application of the Bloomer Rod and Gun Club, the Cigarette license applications of the Valley Tavern and Trout Creek Inn, and the Operators license applications of-Billie Jo Sarauer, Marian L. Pecha, Judy K. Score, Megan L. Wallace, Christine Hanson, Jayme Pl Earsom, Alisa M. King Jessica L. Przybylski, Suzette Mayer, Ralph Roggenbuck Jr., Donald F. Lang, Delon R. Lambert, Richard W Burrow, Clement V. Goettl Jr., Darren Knutson, Larry T, Lowe, Mark Tomasovich, John Ludwigson, Randall J. Bowe, Wayne L. Stolt, Charles Lang, Charles Durch, James Kleingarten David J. Huse, Jeffrey W. Steinmetz, Daniel M. Stolt, John P. Sykora III, Donald Steinmetz, and Michael A. Galetka.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion 3-0.  The motion carried 3-0.

Ron Fanetti made a motion to go into closed session to discuss written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the town board with respect to litigation in which the Town is involved relative to the Town’s exiting mining ordinance.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
Ron Fanetti made a motion to go into open session.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. No action was taken during closed session.
ADOURN:  David Clements made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:26 pm.  Ron Fanetti seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
