Regular Town Board Meeting

June 9, 2008

Chairman Ron Fanetti called the meeting to order on June 9, 2008 at 8:00 pm.  The supervisors present were: David Clements and Gary Yakesh.  Delegation present were:  Victoria Trinko-clerk, Eunice Steinmetz-treasurer, Vernon Steinmetz, John Clements, Sage Clements, Angie Hartman, and David LaGesse.
PUBLIC COMMENT:  There was no public comment.
Gary Yakesh made a motion to accept and place on file the minutes of the May 12, 2008 regular meeting and the special meeting on May 27, 2008.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
David Clements made a motion to approve the June financial report.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
Gary Yakesh made a motion to approve the payment of the May bills.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.  
There was no action taken on budget categories.
Discussion and possible action on establishment of an annual motile home park fee/resolution was tabled to the next meeting.
Gary Yakesh made a motion to accept the 2008 Class “B” beer, liquor, and cigarette applications from Stacy Pecha for the Valley Tavern and Carey Davis for the Trout Creek Inn; the “Class B” beer application from representative Darren Knutson for the Bloomer Rod & Gun Club, and operators applications from Billie Jo Sarauer, Mary Pecha, Jeremy Berg, Judy Score, Christine Hanson, Jayme Earsom, Rosalie Sundstrom, Penny Synder, Tammy Whinnery, Rebecca Yakesh, Alisa King, Ralph Roggenbuck Jr., Donald Lang, Delon Lambert, Clyde Allison, Richard Burrow, Clement Goettl Jr., Darren Knutson, Larry Loew, Mark Tomasovich, John Ludwigson, Randall Bowe, Wayne Stolt, Charles Lang Charles Durch, and James Kleingarten, and the picnic license application from representative Eunice Steinmetz for St. John’s Catholic Church.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.   
There was discussion about the roadwork [shouldering gravelling, asphalt, and pulverizing] on 148th/ 150th Avenue of 1.5 miles and the estimate given by the Chippewa County Highway Dept. as noted in the minutes of the special meeting.  There was discussion about getting a bid from Monarch Paving.  David Clements left a message on David Jaenke’s cell phone. 
PUBLIC COMMENT John Clements bought land at 148oth/ 150th avenue and requested a new culvert. The township will provide the new culvert as this road is being reconstructed.  John and Sage Clements will complete a driveway permit form.  Discussion was held about the specifications of the slope and width of the driveway as required by the driveway ordinance.

Ron Fanetti made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:16 p.m.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
