Regular Town Board Meeting

May 11, 2009

Chairman Ron Fanetti called the meeting to order on May 11, 2009 at 8:00 pm.  The supervisors present were: David Clements and Gary Yakesh.  Delegation present were:  Eunice Steinmetz-treasurer, and see the attached attendance sheet for residents attending the meeting.  
PUBLIC COMMENT:  No public comment 
Gary Yakesh made a motion to approve and place on file the minutes of April 13, 2009 regular town board meeting, special meeting minutes of March 11 & 23, 2009 and informational meeting minutes of April 20, 2009David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
David Clements made a motion to approve the May financial report.  Gary Yakesh seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0. 
Gary Yakesh made a motion to approve the April bills.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
Discussion and possible action on budget categoriesThe non-allocated fund category has $11,900.00.
Discussion and possible action on election stimulus check usage was postponed until the next regular meeting.
Discussion and possible action on approval of building permit-Junior Sonnentag was postponed until the next regular meeting.
Gary Yakesh made a motion to pass the resolution on weekend voting.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.  The clerk will send copies to the legislative representatives of the Town of Cooks Valley at the county, state, and federal levels. 
Discussion and possible action to the Wisconsin prevailing wage law was postponed until the next regular meeting.
The 20% check for MFL-Roy Buchner was sent to the Chippewa County Treasurer.

Gary Yakesh made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
