TOWN OF COOKS VALLEY
ROAD COMMITTEE MEETING
September 8, 2008

 

After the road inspection tour that started at 6:00 pm, Ron Fanetti, chairman of the Town of Cooks Valley, called the annual meeting of the road evaluation committee to order at 7:42 pm.  Members in attendance were Vernon Steinmetz, David LaGesse, David Clements, and Ron Fanetti.    David Clements made a motion to approve and place on file the minutes of the June 14, 2007.  David LaGesse seconded the motion. The motion carried 4-0.  Ron Fanetti will update the road evaluation report.   Vernon Steinmetz will replace a stop ahead sign on 50th Street and repair a pothole.  A water pipe on 186th Avenue is 14 feet from the edge of the blacktop instead of the required 23 feet from the edge of the blacktop.  It was suggested to send a certified letter to inform Darrell Fehr that the whole structure [pivot, cement, pipe]  should be 33 feet from the center of the road.  David LaGesse suggested a building permit should have been applied for prior to the construction of the pipe and a building permit should be included in the certified letter to Darrell Fehr.  Lookout Lane needs to be graded. 
David Clements made a motion to adjourn the road committee meeting at 7:53 pmDavid LaGesse seconded the motion.  The motion carried 4-0.
