TOWN OF COOKS VALLEY

 Special Town Board Meeting

October 22, 2025

The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on Wednesday October 22, 2025 at the Cooks Valley town hall located at 3633 155^th Ave at 4:02 pm by Chairman Darrel Fehr.  Supervisor present none.  Other town official present were Erica Ullom-Clerk and Vicki Freeberg-Deputy Clerk.

Development of 2026 budget:   There was discussion of levy limit from the Dept. of Revenue, development of the 2026 Town of Cooks Valley budget and establishment of a proposed levy for the Town of Cooks Valley in 2026.

Possible approval proposed budget to present at public hearing: Darrel Fehr made a motion to approve the 2026 proposed budget to present at the budget public hearing.  Erica Ullom seconded the motion. The motion carried 2-0.

Possible scheduling of public budget hearing:  Darrel Fehr made a motion to schedule the public budget hearing for November 11, 2025 at 7:00 pm at the Town of Cooks Valley Town Hall. Erica Ullom seconded the motion. The motion carried 2-0.

Possible scheduling of a special town elector meeting: Darrel Fehr made a motion to schedule a special town meeting of the electors for November 11, 2025 following the public budget hearing.  Erica Ullom seconded the motion. The motion carried 2-0.

Possible approval of additional item to the special elector meeting: Nothing to add.

Adjourn: Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn at 4:58 pm.  Erica Ullom seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0.
