TOWN OF COOKS VALLEY

SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING

May 19, 2022

The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on May 19, 2022 at the Cooks Valley town hall located at 15751 40th Street at 5:55 pm by Chairman Darrel Fehr.  Supervisor present was Matt Borofka.  Other town official present was Vicki Freeberg-clerk.

Execute a contract for pulverizing, grading, compacting, paving and shouldering on Cooks Valley 1010^th Street. Specifications are approximately 720 lineal feet of roadway; pulverize, fine grade, and compact to a 3% grade center to outside edge. Pave 720 lineal feet in length with driveway and mailbox bump outs 2 1/2 inches thick compacted. Then shouldering will be 2 feet wide both shoulders compacted.

Darrel Fehr made a motion to execute contract with Monarch Paving for pulverizing, compacting, paving, and shouldering on Cooks Valley 1010^th St. Specifications are approximately 720 lineal feet of roadway; pulverize, fine grade, and compact to a 3% grade center to outside edge. Pave 720 lineal feet in length with driveway and mailbox bump outs 2 1/2 inches thick compacted. Then shouldering will be 2 feet wide with both shoulders compacted for the approximate cost of $21,046.85.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0. 

Adjourn:   Matt Borofka made a motion to adjourn at 5:57 pm.  Darrel Fehr seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0.
