Special Town Board Meeting

May 3, 2022

 

The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on May 3, 2022 at the Cooks Valley town hall located at 15751 40th Street at 9:00 am by Chairman Darrel Fehr.  Supervisors present were David Clements and Matt Borofka.  Other town official present was Vicki Freeberg-clerk.    Representatives of Monarch Paving, Senn Blacktop, Michels Grading and Trucking were also present.

Opening and possible acceptance of bids for paving, and shouldering on Cooks Valley Town Road 170th Ave. from Cooks Valley 10th Street east to Chippewa County Highway DD. Length is approximately 5120 ft.

David Clements made a motion to accept Monarch Paving’s bid for pulverizing, base coarse, paving, and shouldering on 170th Ave. from Cooks Valley 10th Street east to Chippewa County Highway DD for the approximate cost of $148,837.65.   Darrel Fehr seconded the motion.   The motion carried 3-0. 

 

Adjourn:   Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn at 9:19 am.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
