TOWN OF COOKS VALLEY

Special Town Board Meeting

January 11, 2021

The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Cooks Valley town hall located at 15751 40th Street at 8:06 pm by Chairman Darrel Fehr. Supervisors present were Matt Borofka and David Clements.  Other town officials present were Treasurer Judy Prince and Town Clerk Vicki Freeberg.

Discussion and possible action on Purfrac mine agreement– Dave Rosenbrook agreed to reopen the mine agreement between Purfrac and Township.

Purfrac and Board went though the permit: changed some wording and added two new paragraphs in Miscellaneous Items at the end.

This permit is valid only if used in conjunction with Chippewa county reclamation permit #2015-02 dated 8/29/2016. Any changes to Chippewa County reclamation permit will need to be approved by the Cooks Valley Town Board.

This permit is issued to Purfrac with them acknowledging that they do not have a road agreement with The Town of Cooks Valley or Chippewa County. So Purfrac acknowledges that they will not haul any equipment or materials in or out of mine site until a road agreement has been procured by Purfrac from the Town of Cooks Valley.

The Town Board and Purfrac agreed to have Board send permit to our Attorney for review.

Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn at 8:37 pm. Matt Borofka seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
