ANNUAL MEETING

APRIL 18, 2017

Chairman Darrel Fehr called the annual meeting to order at 7:30 pm on April 18, 2017.  Supervisors: David Clements and Matt Borofka and Clerk-Victoria Trinko were also present.
Chairman Darrel Fehr read the minutes of the April 19, 2016 annual meeting. .  David Clements made a motion to place on file the minutes of the annual meeting of April 19, 2016.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 6-0.
Victoria Trinko, town clerk, presented the 2016 financial report.  The categories and amounts were explained.  The board certified the financial statement.
Mary Jo Fehr made a motion to set the date for the next annual meeting on April 17, 2018 at 7:30 pm.   David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 6-0.
Jim Lueck asked if there was a possibility of placing a moratorium on new sand mines in the Town of Cooks Valley.  He expressed concern about the future quality of the ground water and air.  The Chairman is going to consult with Glenn Stoddard, the town lawyer, concerning a moratorium.  David Clements is going to call WTA concerning expansion of an existing mine. 
Chairman Darrel Fehr has obtained more details on the installation of a bathroom and addition to the town hall.  The installation of a holding tank, with excavation included, would cost $5500.00.  The existing outdoor bathroom would remain in place.  A new well would cost approximately $8500.00 including the pressure tank and pump.  He is consulting with Joe Yakesh on the cost of an addition of a twelve foot extension the width of the existing hall to incorporate a small kitchen and additional storage area.
Jim Lueck will investigate the leak in the dome of the bathroom facility.
Jim Lueck made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:09 pm.  Mary Jo Fehr seconded the motion.  The motion carried 6-0.
