TOWN OF COOKS VALLEY
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
April 17, 2017

The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on April 17, 2017 at the Cooks Valley town hall located at 15751 40th Street at 9:00 am by Chairman Darrel Fehr.  Supervisors present were David Clements and Matt Borofka.  Other town official present was Victoria Trinko-clerk.  See attachment for delegation present.
Opening and possible acceptance of bids for base coarse, milling, paving, and shouldering on Cooks Valley Town Road 155th Ave. from 60th St., east to 70th Street and on 50th Street north from 186th Avenue to the Town of Cooks Valley line:

Chairman Darrel Fehr inspected 55th Street and there was no noticeable difference in the roads using the different grades of oil.  David Clements made a motion to award the contract for paving to Monarch Paving using the 58.28 oil on 155th Avenue for $72,525.60 and on 50th street for $18,618.60 for a total of $91,144.20.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.

Darrel Fehr made a motion to award a contract for shouldering to Dave Michels Grading & Trucking on 155th Avenue for $4200.00 and on 50th Street for $960.00 and for base coarse on 155th Avenue for $11,354.68 and on 50th Street for $2970.24 for a total of $19,484.92.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Adjourn:  Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn at 9:20 am.  Matt Borofka seconded the motion.  The motion carried 3-0.
