The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on December 11, 2009 at the Cooks Valley Town Hall located at 15751 40th Street at 7:00 pm by Chairman Ron Fanetti. Supervisors present were David Clements and Gary Yakesh. Other town officials present were Victoria Trinko-clerk, Eunice Steinmetz-treasurer. Others present: Vernon Steinmetz and Earl Hassemer.
There was discussion of the draft of Chapter 21 Ordinance to Adopt the Town of Cooks Valley Comprehensive Plan. David Clements made a motion to post the draft of Chapter 21 with a Class II legal announcement in the Bloomer Advance for public hearing on the ordinance following the public hearing on the comprehensive plan and possible action on Chapter 21 at the special town board meeting following the public hearing. Gary Yakesh seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Discussion and possible action on culvert replacement of the south ½ of 60th Street: The two sets of culverts, installed circa 1974-75 with extensions put in in the 1980’s have become very thin on the bottoms. Gary Yakesh made a motion to replace 4 culverts [two sets of two] on 60th Street in the spring of 2010. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Discussion and possible action non-compliance with the building permit ordinance:
Discussion and possible action on returned certified mailings: The town chairman will call the Town of Cooks Valley’s legal counsel concerning the returned certified letters.
Gary Yakesh made a motion to adjourn at 7:43 pm. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
