The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on December 28, 2009 at the Cooks Valley Town Hall located at 15751 40th Street following the public hearing on Chapter 20 and Chapter 21 at 8:15 pm by Chairman Ron Fanetti. Supervisors present were David Clements and Gary Yakesh. Other town officials present were Victoria Trinko-clerk, Eunice Steinmetz-treasurer. Others present: see attached list.
There was no public comment.
Discussion on Chapter 20 Land Use Changes to the Comprehensive Plan was to add 3 words ‘right-of–way’ in numbers 1, 2, 3 and change the word ‘planning’ to ‘plan’. Gary Yakesh made a motion to accept Chapter 20: Land Use Changes to the Comprehensive Plan into the Town of Cooks Valley Code of Ordinances with the changes of adding ‘right-of-way’ and substituting the word ‘plan’ instead of ‘planning’. David Clements seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken: Gary Yakesh-aye, David Clements-aye, Ronald Fanetti-aye. The motion carried 3-0. Gary Yakesh, on behalf of the town board of Cooks Valley, commended the plan commission for their work in the completion of the Comprehensive Plan. David LaGesse, chairman of the plan commission, thanked Ron Fanetti for his assistance to the plan commission in the writing of the comprehensive plan.
David Clements made a motion to adopt Chapter 21: Ordinance to Adopt the Comprehensive Plan of the Town of Cooks Valley, Wisconsin into the Town of Cooks Valley Code of Ordinances. Gary Yakesh seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken: David Clements-aye, Gary Yakesh-aye, Ronald Fanetti-aye. The motion carried 3-0.
The town board approved the payment of the City of Bloomer-Fire Dept. 2nd half fire expenses as of 11-30-09.
Gary Yakesh made a motion to adjourn at 8:34 pm. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
