TOWN OF COOKS VALLEY
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
June 6, 2014

A special town board meeting was called to order at 10:00 am by Chairman Darrel Fehr at the Cooks Valley Town Hall located at 15751 40th Street.  Officers in attendance:  Darrel Fehr-chairman, David Clements-supervisor, Victoria Trinko-clerk.  

Opening and discussion of bid for 186th Avenue Preferred Sands mine haul route: 
 The Chairman gave the explanation that this meeting was to open the bids for the 186th Avenue Preferred Sands mine haul route with the intention to make a recommendation to the Chippewa County Highway Dept. and not approval of the bid by the Town of Cooks Valley.
The bid from Antczak Construction had a total of $861,810.20.
The bid from McCabe had a total of $974,163.60.  
There was discussion of paving costs, any proposed changes to the road project plus added cost and additional money required to complete the project. 

Adjourn:   Darrel Fehr made a motion to adjourn at 10:35 am.   David Clements seconded the motion.  The motion carried 2-0.
