The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on March 31, 2010 at the Cooks Valley Town Hall located at 15751 40th Street at 8:00 pm by Chairman Ron Fanetti. Supervisors present were David Clements and Gary Yakesh. Other town officials present were Victoria Trinko-clerk, Eunice Steinmetz-treasurer. Others present: Bill Schindler.
Discussion and possible action on bids for the reconstruction of 60th Street: There will be bids placed for the pulverization and blacktop for 2.71 miles on 60th Street. From County Highway C to 1000 feet the width of the blacktop will be 20 feet wide, then 22 feet wide for 1878 feet, then from 2878 feet the black top will be 20 feet wide for the remainder of 60th Street 14,286 feet the black top will be 20 feet wide for the remainder of 60th street 14,286 feet. Blacktop Type E1 mix, 2 ½ inches compacted. Pulverization will be from County Highway C to State Highway 40 [60th Street] 2.71 miles; from 1000 feet to 2878 feet will be 22 feet wide with the remainder 20 feet wide.
Discussion and possible action on culvert replacement: There will be inspection of the culverts and placement of existing culverts vs. additional or repositioning of culverts.
Discussion and possible action on appointment of member to the plan commission: No action was taken
Gary Yakesh made a motion to adjourn at 8:52 pm. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
