TOWN OF COOKS VALLEY
SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
The Special Town Board meeting of the Town of Cooks Valley was called to order on November 1, 2009 at the Cooks Valley Town Hall located at 15751 40th Street at 7:30 pm by Chairman Ron Fanetti. Supervisors present were David Clements and Gary Yakesh. Other town officials present were Victoria Trinko-clerk, Eunice Steinmetz-treasurer.
Discussion of meetings and timeline for the implementation of the Comprehensive Plan: David Clements made a motion to have the public hearing notice placed in the Bloomer Advance on November 4, 2009 announcing the date of the public hearing for the Comprehensive Plan on Friday December 4, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Cooks Valley Town Hall. Gary Yakesh seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0. David Clements made a motion to place this notice on Monday November 2, 2009 at the Bloomer Advance so the notice will be placed in the Wednesday November 4, 2009 for the rural publication. Gary Yakesh seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0. David Clements made a motion to have a special board meeting to adopt the Comprehensive plan on Tuesday December 22, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Cooks Valley Town Hall. Gary Yakesh seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Gary Yakesh made a motion to send out a letter as a courtesy to landowners with possible interest in commercial mining notifying them of the public hearing of the Comprehensive Plan on Friday December 4, 2009 at 7:30 PM at the Cooks Valley Town Hall. David Clements seconded the motion. The motion carried 3-0.
Gary Yakesh made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 8:17 pm.
